Born and Raised in the Upstate of South Carolina, Blake Smith received his BA in Visual Art from Lander University, and his MFA from Clemson University. His photographs have been seen in B&W Magazine and are in public and private collections. His work focuses on the cultural landscape of the Southern United States. He is Currently Associate Professor of Art at North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC.
